Ski & Snowboard Camp

Dates: Late Summer 2005
This program will
provide you with an ideal opportunity to experience fall skiing and snowboarding
on a permanent snowfield in the Rocky
Mountains in open terrain above the tree line. Participants will hike into a
high alpine plateau and spend one night camping, one full day of climbing, and
skiing / snowboarding. You will enjoy excellent an early season off piste
experience. Avalanche safety equipment, tents, and stoves provided. Pre-trip
meeting will discuss equipment, food, clothing, and other logistics.
Transportation provided to and from trailhead.
Avalanche
Transceiver Clinic
$40
per person
Dates: December - March
2006
Participants will
learn to effectively use avalanche transceivers and rescue techniques in the
event of an avalanche. Avalanche safety equipment provided.
Mountain
Safety Skills Course
We

Reasonably
priced accommodation and meals can be arranged. Cost is approximately $65 per
night based on double occupancy.
