Top end of North York CreekA sense of history, an awesome view and cirque, and challenging hills make this one of the more prefect rides in the area. On your way to the wreckage of a Dakota airplane, that happen on a stormy winter's night in 1946 you get to face three challenges all of which present themselves in the same form... very rocky, very rough, very steep hills (watch on the way out as they are harder going down than going up). On your arrival at the top of the valley you first come across the plane wreckage, the tail section is in the trees and there are wings and motors in the creek. Once inspecting the wreck you can then make the climb by foot up the side of Andy Good Peak to a beautiful little cirque. Some looking for even more adventure have carried bikes to the cirque and then up across the saddle to Ptolemy Creek on the other side.
