The south end of the ridgeA trip that can be made short or long with its numerous options. Start with a climb from the summit of the Adanac Road to the summit on the south end of Hastings Ridge. Once on top you get a magnificent view of the limestone ridges of the Flathead Range to the west and the Clark Range to the south. From the top you can explore the Adanac Strip Mine of the 1940s or climb to the top of the peak. Prior to arriving at the summit there is a spur to the north that leads you to more views of the valley below or on which you can continue along towards the north end of Hastings Ridge, eventually meeting up with the Hastings Ridge Trail.
