Starting out to Hastings Ridge. This a trail that some have referred to as the best ride in the area. Beginning off the Adanac Road the trail climbs steady but rideable for the first 4.5 km after which it levels out and then begins a slight decent. At the pass there is a good ridge walk to the north onto the peak on Hillcrest Mountain. Once arriving at the ridge between Hillcrest and Turtle Mountains the trail gives you two options including a 5 km decent down Drum Creek. This descent is very steep at the start but levels off to a gentler slope fairly quickly. Drum Creek takes you into the Hamlet of Hillcrest from which you can return to the start via the Adanac Road. The other option takes you to the Satoris Road above Blairmore. The trip to the Satoris Road is steep and fast and you return to the start via the downhill on the Satoris Road, the Highway, and the Adanac Road.
