Update as of January 23, 2006
Everyone still reporting good snow conditions on the BC side this weekend. Renters who went up to the Notch - staging from the Morissey Road today said the trail was smooth going in and the weather was great (said yesterday they couldn't see up at the Notch for blowing snow). Other renters who came back from Cranbrook reported super conditions there as well. Definitely no shortage of snow from everyone's reports of getting stuck especially on the left side of the Notch. Sorry, I have no pics from that area this weekend.
The guys went to Atlas yesterday and again today. They said there wasn't a lot of snow on the road and in the open areas but the trails through the trees had good snow and were super smooth - the groomer was up there today. However, once they got higher up there was good snow - waist deep powder in some of the bowls.
